Learning Resources are available to Moorpark College students at no cost. These resources are provided by The Learning Center, The Math Center and the Writing Center, and include tutoring, workshops, print materials, and video, DVD and CD-Rom instructional materials.

The Learning Center provides tutoring (drop-in and by appointment) and learning resources in many academic disciplines. Check with Judith Hunt for a listing of current subjects.

The Math Center provides tutoring (drop-in and by appointment) for individuals and groups, workshops, and media resources. On-line tutoring is available by appointment (please e-mail Brendan_Purdy@vcccd.edu ).

The Writing Center provides writing and reading guidance across the curriculum, through tutorials, workshops, and print and media resources. The Writing Center can also provide coaching in study skills. For individual tutoring, appointments are recommended. Appointments are 30 minutes. We ask that students make no more than one appointment per day for English/Writing. On-line writing tutoring is available by appointment or during on-line drop-in hours (see COL MO5 below).
