Keep Your Mind and Body Fit
Moorpark College offers a variety of group fitness classes in our Fitness Studio located in G-122. Offering convenient access to popular fitness activities, you can earn college credit, while developing skills and knowledge for healthier living.
In our group fitness classes you will learn concepts and practices specific to fitness activities of your choice, meet faculty and student's with similar interests, and be provided an opportunity to condition your body and mind. Regular participation in this program can help keep you physically fit, mentally alert, and relaxed.
Current Offerings:
Cardiovascular Conditioning
courses offered include: PE M12 Extreme Aerobic Mix, PE M15 Cardio Kick Boxing, PE M39 Nia Fusion Fitness, and PE M40 Core fitness with Cardio Ball.
Core and Muscular Conditioning courses include: PE M16 Flexible Strength Pilates Mat, and PE M18 Core Stability and Stretch, and PE M40 Core Fitness with Cardio Ball.
Specialty Courses teaching a specific format and skills include: PE M15 Cardio Kick Boxing, PE M16 Flexible Strength/Pilates, PE M35 Tai Chi, PE M37 Martial Arts, and PE M39 Nia Fusion Fitness.
